Navarro-ATL has the sole responsibility to operate, manage, and maintain the 222-S Laboratory Complex located in Richland, WA for the U.S. Department of Energy. The 222-S Laboratory is the primary on-site lab for analysis of highly radioactive samples in support of all Hanford Projects. It is a 70,000 square-foot facility containing over 100 pieces of analytical equipment, 156 fume hoods, and 11 hot cells equipped with 46 mechanical manipulators. The Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (located in Oak Ridge, TN) and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International, Inc. (located in Gaithersburg, MD). Together, Navarro and ATL have partnered to form Navarro-ATL.
