Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to provide senior management’s expectations for environmental protection and continual improvement of the Environmental Management System (EMS) that align with the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) 14001 requirements.

Scope

The scope of the ISO 14001 EMS and this Environmental Policy includes those operations managed by Navarro-ATL through its contract with the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of River Protection (DOE-ORP), at or near the Hanford Site in Richland Washington and applies to all persons doing work under its control.
